RiverView Health operates a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital, RiverView Recovery Center; a chemical dependency outpatient treatment program, RiverView Home Care and five primary care and specialty clinics in the hospitals service area.

Responsibilities

RN Ortho-Spine Navigator - Clinic (full-time) 

 

Position Status: .8 fte (64 hours per pay period) - Hours are 8:00am - 4:30pm. Rotating weekends in Primary Care, approximately 4 weekends per year.

Department: Clinic

Salary Range: $42.32 - $54.75/ per hour (based on experience)

 

The RN Ortho-Spine Navigator works closely with the Spine team optimizing patients for surgery, education, and follow-up on post operative outcomes.  

 

The RN Navigator is responsible for facilitating and assisting patients through the healthcare continuum, enhancing the communication between caregivers and integration of care. Takes a lead role in coordinating with a multidisciplinary approach to planning and providing a continuum of care, acting as a liaison between the surgeon, PCP, and other ancillary departments including radiology, laboratory, PT, OT, supply chain and surgery to ensure that the needs and concerns of the orthopedic patients are addressed.

 

Qualifications

Minimum(s):

  • Current RN license in Minnesota and North Dakota. ND license must be obtained within 3 months of hire if not already held.
  • Current American Heart Association CPR certification (or) must obtain within 4 months of hire, training provided.
  • Two+ years of clinical experience

Preferred:

  • 5+ years of Clinic experience
  • 1+ years of Nurse Navigator experience

  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
