Temporary - Full-Time RN

Location: Hospital / Inpatient - ED
Position Status: .9 fte; Non-exempt subject to over-time

Schedule: up to 72 hours per two-week pay period

Pay Range: $42.24 - $59.15 /per hour (DOE - based on experience) - non-benefitted

River View Health has an opening for a Temporary - Registered Nurse (FT) for the Hospital-Inpatient Unit.  This position will train to Med-Surg, and then specialize at a minimum 1 of the following areas: ICU, OB, or Emergency Room.  This position will work Med Surgical and Peds and may cover shifts between (7am-7pm) or (7pm - 7am) supporting all Riverview Health IPU and ED. This position is available to assist our departments for employee vacations, leaves, and sick calls.  

This position will support the departments:

• Direct Patient Care - Develops and implements care plans based on patient condition and medical protocols.  Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician. Demonstrates competency and uses comprehensive nursing expertise.
• Documentation and Reporting - Accurately document patient care and outcomes in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Communication and Collaboration - Communicate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare team members. Provide patient education on care plans, discharge instructions, and medications.
• Patient Advocacy and Safety - Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes appropriately.

Minimum(s):

• Current State of Minnesota RN license.
• Current American Heart BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications are required.

Preferred(s):

• Experience in OB
