Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – (RN Student Preferred)

Location: Hospital Inpatient
Position Status: .9 FTE (72 hours per pay period); Non-exempt subject to OT
Schedule: 72 hours per two-week pay period; must be able to work weekend schedule (every 6th weekend) 
Pay Range: $22.29 - $31.21(based on experience)

This position is ideal for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who is actively pursuing their Registered Nurse (RN) credentials. • Delivering safe, effective nursing care under the direction of providers.
• Administering medications, immunizations, and treatments as directed.
• Coordinating patient care and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Ensuring accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR)
• Performing treatments according to facility protocols and scope of practice.
• Responding to emergent situations with appropriate nursing interventions.
• Assisting inpatient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Maintaining compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Required:

• Current LPN License – Minnesota
• American Heart CPR and ACLS certifications are required. Will provide training for ACLS but certification must be obtained within 4 months of employment.

Preferred(s):

• Experience in Obstetrics, Medical, Surgical or ICU
• Minimum of 1 year working in a healthcare setting
• EMR – Epic experience
