RiverView Health operates a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital, RiverView Recovery Center; a chemical dependency outpatient treatment program, RiverView Home Care and five primary care and specialty clinics in the hospitals service area.

Responsibilities

Temporary - Part Time or Full-Time RN (June 1st thru Aug 15th)

 

Location: Hospital / Inpatient - ED
Position Status: .5 fte up to .9 fte (flexible schedule); Non-exempt subject to over-time

Schedule: at least 40 hours up to 72 hours per two-week pay period

Pay Range: $42.24 - $59.15 /per hour (DOE - based on experience) - non-benefitted

 

 

River View Health has an opening for a Temporary - Registered Nurse (PT or FT capacity) for the Hospital-Inpatient Unit (IPU) / Emergency Department (ED).  This position will work Med Surgical and Peds and may cover shifts between (7am-7pm) or (7pm - 7am) supporting all Riverview Health IPU and ED. This position is available to assist our departments for employee vacations, leaves, and sick calls.  This position is subject to low-census docking.

 

This position will support the departments:

 

  • Direct Patient Care - Develops and implements care plans based on patient condition and medical protocols.  Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician. Demonstrates competency and uses comprehensive nursing expertise.
  • Documentation and Reporting - Accurately document patient care and outcomes in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Communication and Collaboration - Communicate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare team members. Provide patient education on care plans, discharge instructions, and medications.
  • Patient Advocacy and Safety - Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes appropriately.

 

Qualifications

Minimum(s):

  • Current State of Minnesota RN license.
  • Current American Heart BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications are required.
  • 2+ years acute care nursing experience.

Preferred(s):

  • TNCC and NRP certifications.

  • Must work well under pressure and be sensitive to concerns and confidentiality of the patient
  • Ability to work with patients of all ages and backgrounds with professionalism and care
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
