RiverView Health operates a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital, RiverView Recovery Center; a chemical dependency outpatient treatment program, RiverView Home Care and five primary care and specialty clinics in the hospitals service area.

Responsibilities

RiverView Health has a full-time (80 hours every 2 weeks) Patient Access Representative - Rehab Services position open. The Patient Access Representative will perform duties related to the pre-registration, registration, scheduling, and financial clearance processes for all patients. Provides customer service and orients patients to the registration process while collecting all pertinent data as well as applicable co-pays upon presentation. Patient Access Representative communicates directly with patients and families, physicians, nurses, insurance companies. Salary range is $17.60 - $24.64; starting wage is dependent on experience. Sign on bonus is available.

 
 

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience in Patient Access duties, basic knowledge of medical terminology, and insurances is preferred.
