RiverView Health operates a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital, RiverView Recovery Center; a chemical dependency outpatient treatment program, RiverView Home Care and five primary care and specialty clinics in the hospitals service area.

Responsibilities

RiverView Health has an opening for a full-time (64 hours every 2 weeks) Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant is a clinically competent, licensed, professional who effectively and professionally interacts with patients, family members, and other health care team members to provides treatment for patients under the occupational therapy plan of care as established by the therapist. The Occupational Therapy Assistant is expected to comply with regulatory standards of the American Occupational Therapy Association, the Department of Health, and any other professional guidelines while maintaining RiverView Health standards of behavior. Settings may include inpatient, sub-acute care, outpatient, pediatrics, and occupational health. The COTA will work 2 days per week in Crookston and 2 days per week at the East Grand Forks Clinic and includes working call 1 weekend per month and 2 holidays per year. Salary range is $21.65 - $30.31 and starting wage is dependent on experience. Sign on bonus is available. 

Qualifications

  • Current State of Minnesota Occupational Therapy Assistant license, which must be in good standing is required. 
  • Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant is required. 
  • Current American Heart BLS certification is required. If not current training will be provided and certification must be obtained within 6 months from the date of hire or employment will be terminated.
