RiverView Health operates a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital, RiverView Recovery Center; a chemical dependency outpatient treatment program, RiverView Home Care and five primary care and specialty clinics in the hospitals service area.

Responsibilities

RiverView Health has an opening for a full-time (64 hours every 2 weeks) RN for Same Day Surgery. The Same Day Surgery - RN works collaboratively as an active member of the inter-professional team to provide therapeutic, safe, and efficient patient care. The RN systematically and continuously collects and assesses data related to patient health status to develop, execute and evaluate the plan of care. The RN utilizes evidence to drive clinical decisions and establishes goals and strategies for meeting care coordination needs of the patient, family, and/or other care providers. The RN primary works independently within their scope of practice to achieve clinical outcomes appropriate for the patient and their families. Position involves working rotating shifts and on-call every sixth day and every sixth weekend. Salary range is $34.31- $48.05 and starting wage is dependent on experience. Sign on bonus is available.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of nursing, A.D.N or BSN is required.
  • Current State of Minnesota and North Dakota RN licenses are required.
  • Current American Heart BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications are required. If not currently certified training will be provided and certifications must be obtained within 6 months of date of hire or employment will be terminated.
