RiverView Health operates a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital, RiverView Recovery Center; a chemical dependency outpatient treatment program, RiverView Home Care and five primary care and specialty clinics in the hospitals service area.

Responsibilities

RiverView Health has an opening for a full-time (64 to 80 hours every 2 weeks) Speech Language Pathologist for our Crookston and Red Lake Falls clinics. The Speech-Language Pathologist is a clinically competent, licensed, professional of their discipline who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients through the process of evaluation, ongoing assessment, planning, and implementation of therapy interventions.  They will effectively and professionally interact with patients, family members, responsible party, and other care team members, while maintaining RiverView Health’s standards of behavior guidelines. The SLP will comply with regulatory standards of the American Speech and Hearing Association, the Department of Health, and any other professional guidelines. They will complete evaluations and treatments for all ages in primarily the outpatient setting with opportunity for inpatient care, sub-acute care, and Videofluoroscopic Swallowing Studies (VFSS). Salary range is $32.82 - $45.95 and starting wage is dependent on experience. Sign on bonus is available for this position. Qualifications

  • Current State of Minnesota license in Speech-Language Pathology, which must be in good standing is required. 
  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology is required. 
  • Certificate of clinical Competency (CCC) or in clinical fellowship is required.  
  • Current American Heart BLS certification is required. If not, current training will be provided and certification must be obtained within 4 months from the date of hire or employment will be terminated.
