RiverView Health, is a community owned, membership based non-profit organization that was formed in 1898 and continues to be the sole community hospital in Crookston, MN.

 

RiverView Health operates a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital, RiverView Recovery Center; a chemical dependency outpatient treatment program, RiverView Home Care and five primary care and specialty clinics in the hospitals service area.

Responsibilities

Position: Clinical Dietitian

Schedule: Full-Time (.8 fte) - 64 hours per pay period
Clinic hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Pay Range: $27.81 - $38.94 (D.O.E - dependent upon experience)

Job Status: Non-Exempt (subject to OT), benefitted position eligible for "Sign-On" bonus of $15,000. 

 

 

RiverView Health has a position open for a full-time (.8 fte - 64 hours per pay period) Clinical Dietitian.The Clinical Dietitian will be responsible for the assessment and care of the nutritional needs of patients within the hospital, clinics and outpatient settings including the community wellness and medical home model of nutrition service delivery. The Clinical Dietitian will also develop and maintain quality improvement for those RiverView nutrition service lines as well as developing staff in-servicing relating to nutrition and therapeutic diets and teaching of RiverView sponsored classes and seminars. The Clinical Dietitian will participate in RiverView patient care committees’ and will serve as representative for RiverView on boards of community based service and activities as requested by their Leader. 

 

Qualifications

Required:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university with a major in food and nutrition. 
  • Valid State of Minnesota Registered Dietitian license.
  • Registered by the American Dietetic Association or within six months of employment, or registry eligible by having completed one of the following:
    • Coordinated undergraduate program in dietetics
    • An approved dietetics internship
    • Master's or advanced degree 
  • 1+ years experience in assessment, teaching and Patient education in the outpatient clinical setting.

 

Preferred:

 

  • Certification in diabetic instruction.
  • Previous experience in assessment, teaching and Patient education in the acute setting
