    RiverView Health, is a community owned, membership based non-profit organization that was formed in 1898 and continues to be the sole community hospital in Crookston, MN.


    RiverView Health operates a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital, a 24 bed hospital attached memory care skilled nursing facility, RiverView Recovery Center; a chemical dependency outpatient treatment program, RiverView Home Care and five primary care and specialty clinics in the hospitals service area.

    RiverView Health has an opening for a full-time, (64 hours every two weeks), Activity Assistant in our Care Center.  This position will work 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. weekdays, and every other weekend.


    The Activity Assistant assists with the planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation of Activities for Care Center residents.  This includes helping design programs to encourage socialization, provide entertainment, relaxation, and fulfillment, and improve daily living skills.  This includes conducting group activity programs to promote social and sensory stimulation.  The Activity Assistant will be energetic, self-motivated, and able to work independently. Salary Range is $15.25 - $21.35 and starting wage is dependent upon experience.

    • State of Minnesota Nursing Assistant certification is required.
    • Current American Heart CPR and First Aid certifications required and if not current must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
    • Applicants will possess basic computer skills in programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
