    RiverView Health operates a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital, a 24 bed hospital attached memory care skilled nursing facility, RiverView Recovery Center; a chemical dependency outpatient treatment program, RiverView Home Care and five primary care and specialty clinics in the hospitals service area.

    RiverView Health has an opening for a part-time (24 hours every 2 weeks) Activity Assistant in our Care Center. This position will work 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. weekday shifts, every other weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) and every other holiday. Salary range is $15.56 - $21.78 and starting wage is dependent on experience.

    The Activities Assistant assists Activity Director with the planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of activities for Care Center residents. This includes helping design programs to encourage socialization, provide entertainment, relaxation and fulfillment, and improve daily living skills.


    • Applicants must be a State of Minnesota Certified Nursing Assistant.
    • American Heart CPR and First Aid certifications required within 6 months of employment.
    • Applicants will possess basic computer skills in programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
    • Applicants must have excellent communication skills, be energetic, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
    • Dementia care and activities experience is preferred.
