RiverView Health operates a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital, a 24 bed hospital attached memory care skilled nursing facility, RiverView Recovery Center; a chemical dependency outpatient treatment program, RiverView Home Care and five primary care and specialty clinics in the hospitals service area.

RiverView Health is seeking to hire a full time (64 hours every 2 weeks) Advanced Practice Provider (CNS, NP or PA) to work with our multidisciplinary Orthopaedic team specializing in the spine as well as general orthopaedic cases. The position will require expertise in comprehensive history and physical examination of the patient resulting in a working diagnosis. Competency in procedural work is also necessary including wound closure and management as well as working with the Orthopaedic surgeon to first assist in deep and superficial wound closure, application of wound dressings and appliance application. Also fixation application assistance may also be required per surgeon. Proficiency in prescribing, ordering and administering medications, orthotics and a variety of Orthopaedic devices. Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication and the ability to work independently.


  • Applicants must be a Masters prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing as a Clinical Nurse Specialist or Nurse Practitioner with current MN and ND RN licensure and certification as an APRN or a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant (PA) program with a current PA certification by NCCPA and registered with the MN and ND State Board of Medical Practice.
  • Preferred applicant will have 1 - 3 years of general orthopediac and spine surgery experience.
  • Current American Heart BLS certification is required and ACLS preferred if will provide training.
