    RiverView Health, is a community owned, membership based non-profit organization that was formed in 1898 and continues to be the sole community hospital in Crookston, MN.


    RiverView Health operates a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital, a 24 bed hospital attached memory care skilled nursing facility, RiverView Recovery Center; a chemical dependency outpatient treatment program, RiverView Home Care and five primary care and specialty clinics in the hospitals service area.

    RiverView Health has positions open for an on-call MLT/MLS. The positions will perform routine clinical testing in toxicology, chemistry, hematology, transfusion services, immunology, and microbiology laboratories; receiving, typing, testing, and recording blood bank inventories, and limited phlebotomy. Patients serviced include those in the following age groups: infant, children, adolescent, adult and geriatric. The positions will work weekdays and weekends as available with rotating shifts; RiverView Laboratory is operated 24/7 so night shifts will be included. Salary range for MLT is $22.06 - $30.89 and range for MT is $28.01 - $39.22 and starting wage is dependent on experience.


    • A minimum of 1 year of experience in field preferred.
    • A minimum of 1 year of microbiology laboratory experience is required.
    • A Bachelor or Associate of Science degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or equivalent is required at the time of hire.
    • ASCP certification or equivalent is required; applicant must be eligible for certification upon hire OR must certification be completed within 6 months of hire date.
    • Current American Heart CPR – Healthcare Provider certification is required.
